as much as i had despised my narrative storytelling class last semester, i really wish i had Ommwriter then. before Ommwriter, i found composing on my laptop to be a distracting experience with multiple windows and programs open, visible, and multitasked. it was no environment conducive to solid blocks of time thinking and writing, even with other programs shut down. the temptation to divert my attention when i was frustrated was too accessible for me.

with beautiful ambient soundscapes and a full-screen, bare UI, i’m actually looking forward to shutting out the noise with Ommwriter and thinking about recent realizations and experiences i want to capture in words before they fade from memory.
