televisions were filmed in my studio and then cut up into clips. The clips are triggered via midi composition and improvisation in ableton live. what you see is what you hear.
FRAMED* was first conceptualized by Yugo Nakamura of tha ltd., as a new platform for digital art, designed for everyday interior spaces. This project is a collaboration between Yugo Nakamura, Yoshihiro Saitoh, interior designer and founder of A-Study Co., Ltd., and Om, Inc., a design and engineering team based in Taipei. The principal idea behind a luminarium is to give the visitor an experience of light and colour that will be appreciated for its beauty.
Kinetic Art - Dynamic Structure 1586
Kinetic object (triptych) with 36 independently moving tubes, computer controlled (integrated).
The eCLOUD is a dynamic sculpture inspired by the volume and behavior of an idealized cloud. Made from unique polycarbonate tiles that can fade between transparent and opaque states, its patterns are transformed periodically by real time weather from around the world.
Enigmatica acts as an experimental platform for the combination of light, sound and space. A series of suspended frames diminish in size down the length of the gallery acting as a canvas for the display of surface specific projected visual sequences. Within this constructed inter-dimensionality and through the development of abstract visual and sonic sequences I aim to juxtapose expression with conformity, whilst demonstrating the potential for new forms of digital sculpture.
